APM Lettings Scottish House Prices Rise

We care about our tenants

At APM Lettings we're committed to ensuring our tenants have the best possible experience when renting a property from us, not least because we hope that at a later date you will choose APM Lettings to rent again, or even let a property with us. We genuinely strive to be as useful to both our landlords and our tenants alike.

Most of our landlords use our full property management service, which means as a tenant you can be reassured that the tradesmen that we send round are properly vetted and will turn up when we say they will. We also have our own team of cleaners, so if you need to organise a weekly visit or an end-of-tenancy clean, we would be more than happy to arrange this for you.

Our office is based in Haymarket just a short walk from Haymarket train station and with a good selection of properties, we are confident we have a property that will suit you perfectly.

We can arrange viewings carry out viewings in the evening, so work doesn’t have to be an obstacle and our office is open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.

Edinburgh where is best for me

Edinburgh is a city with a lot of property choice for prospective tenants. Rental prices predictably tend to be higher in the more central areas, but we cover areas that suit the full spectrum of budgets.

Slightly further out, areas like Gorgie and Leith are popular with tenants in their twenties who need good transport connections into Edinburgh city centre.

If shopping and nightlife is most important, then the Old Town (to the south) is a popular choice and Newington is another option that offers relatively good value with easy access to the town centre and Universities.

Maintenance

We thoroughly inspect all our properties prior to tenants moving in and, as a tenant you will be expected to look after the property as if it were your own property.

Applying for a property

To be as fair as possible to all prospective tenants, our properties are let on a first-come first-served basis, as long as the prospective tenant is considered suitable.

Once you have viewed the property and would like to lease the property, we will require you to complete and sign our tenant application form, pay a deposit and provide a completed reference form.

If you are successful we will arrange for you to visit our office to complete and collect the final paperwork and of course collect the keys.

We will notify the council of the change of occupancy. If you are a student you will need to contact the council to receive an exemption notion.
